A LIFE LESSON--

Two of the most overlooked qualities in life are
'patience' and 'wisdom':

Here's why I wanted Trump.

Donald R. “Dick” Ivey, PhD, is a minister, educator, technology executive, entrepreneur,  Marine Corp Veteran, and straight shooting Republican Patriot from Celina, Texas, who is Fed up!  Here’s what this 70 year old patriot had to say"

" Recently I received a questionnaire and request for money from the Republican Party and strongly agree with every question, as I have ever since Obama was elected.
Unfortunately the one question that was missing is: What have the  Republicans done for the American people?
We gave you a majority in the House and Senate, and you never  listened to us. Now you want our money, my money, more money. You should be more concerned about our votes, not our money.
You are the establishment which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets.
Well guess what? It's not going to happen.
So far, TRUMP hasn't asked for a dime.
You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self-destruct course, but look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has achieved what he has, especially in the state of New York.
Here's why I wanted Trump. Yes, he's a bit of an ass; yes, he's an  egomaniac; but I don't care.
The country is a mess because politicians suck.
The Republican Party is two-faced and gutless, and illegals are  everywhere. I want it all fixed!
I don't care that Trump is crude.
I don't care that he insults people..
I don't care that he has changed positions.
      I don't care that he's been married 3 times.
I don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O’Donnell.
I don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslim terrorist.
Our country has become weak, and bankrupt. Our enemies are making fun of us. We are being invaded by illegals. We are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo and Hassid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in, "AND I JUST WANT IT FIXED."
And Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what We The People want and need.
I'm sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and sick of illegals. I just want this thing fixed!
Trump may not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money controlling him; he doesn't have political correctness restraining him; all you know is that he has been very successful; a good negotiator; he has built a lot of things; and, he's also not a politician.
And, he says he'll fix it. And, I believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.
I don't care if the guy has bad hair.
Oh, and by the way, I don’t care if Sheriff Joe didn’t obey a zealot judge who upheld the law on illegal immigration. So I’m glad Trump pardoned him.

Thought for the Day  "No country can sustain, in idleness, more than a small percentage of its numbers. The great majority must labor at something productive!"
Sincerely,
Donald R. "Dick" Ivey, PhD, Celina, TX  (Google Donald R.“Dick” Ivey)
 Thanks,
 Dick

If you know ANY Democrats that want to live with ObamaCare or its desbris....forward this.!

This is an actual family with an outspoken complaint.. It is only a speck on the chart of those who have had the same frustrating problem caused by the sleazy, backdoor installation by a  nation wrecker we had for far too many years.

Cue the funeral bagpipes. My fourth health                                     insurance plan is dead.

Two weeks ago, my husband and I received yet another cancellation notice for our private, individual health insurance coverage. It's our fourth Obamacare-induced obituary in four years. Our first death notice, from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, arrived in the fall of 2013. The insurer informed us that because of "changes from health care reform (also called the Affordable Care Act or ACA)," our plan no longer met the federal government's requirements.

Never mind our needs and desires as consumers who were quite satisfied with a high-deductible PPO that included a wide network of doctors for ourselves and our two children.

Our second death knell, from Rocky Mountain Health Plans, tolled in August 2015. That notice signaled the end of a plan we didn't want in the first place that didn't cover our kids' dental care and wasn't accepted at our local urgent care clinic. The insurer pulled out of the individual market in all but one county in Colorado, following the complete withdrawal from that sector by Humana and UnitedHealthcare.

Our third "notice of plan discontinuation," again from Anthem, informed us that the insurer would "no longer offer your current health plan in the State of Colorado" in August 2016. With fewer and fewer choices as know-it-all Obamacare bureaucrats decimated the individual market here and across the country, we enrolled in a high-deductible Bronze HSA EPO (Health Savings Account Exclusive Provider Organization) offered by Minneapolis-based startup, Bright Health.

Now, here we are barely a year later: Deja screwed times four. Our current plan will be discontinued on Jan. 1, 2018.

"But don't worry," Bright Health's eulogy writer chirped, "we have similar plans to address your needs."

Riiiiight. Where have I heard those pie-in-the-sky promises before? Oh, yeah. Straight out of the socialized medicine Trojan horse's mouth. "If you like your doctor," President Obama promised, "you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what."

Is pathological lying covered under the Affordable Care Act?

Speaking of Affordable Care Act whoppers, so much for "affordable." Our current deductible is $6,550 per person; $13,100 for our family of four. Assuming we can find a new plan at the bottom of the individual market barrel, our current monthly premium, $944.86, will rise to more than $1,300 a month.

"What's taking place is a market correction; the free market is at work," says Colorado's state insurance commissioner, Marguerite Salazar. "(T)his could be an indication that there were too many options for the market to support."

This presumptuous central planner called federal intervention to eliminate "too many" options for consumers the free market at work. Yes, friends, the Rocky Mountain High is real.

This isn't a "market correction." It's a government catastrophe. Premiums for individual health plans in Virginia are set to skyrocket nearly 60 percent in 2018. In New Hampshire, those rates will rise 52 percent. In South Carolina, individual market consumers will face an average 31.3 percent hike. In Tennessee, they'll see rates jump between 20-40 percent.

Private, flexible PPOs for self-sufficient, self-employed people are vanishing by design. The social-engineered future — healthy, full-paying consumers being herded into government-run Obamacare exchanges and severely regulated regional HMOs — is a bipartisan big government health bureaucracy's dream come true.

These choice-wreckers had the arrogant audacity to denigrate our pre-Obamacare plans as "substandard" (Obama), "crappy" (MSNBC big mouth Ed Schultz) and "junk policies" (Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa). When I first called attention to the cancellation notice tsunami in 2013, liberal Mother Jones magazine sneered that the phenomenon was "phony." And they're still denying the Obamacare death spiral. Liberal Vox Media recently called the crisis "a lie."

I don't have enough four-letter words for these propagandists. There are an estimated 450,000 consumers like us in Colorado and 17 million of us nationwide — small-business owners, independent contractors and others who don't get their plans through group coverage, big companies or government employers. The costs, headaches and disruption in our lives caused by Obamacare's meddling meddlers are real and massive.

But we're puzzles to corporate media journalists who've never had to meet a payroll and don't even know what is the individual market.

We're invisible to late-night TV clowns who get their Obamacare-at-all-costs talking points from Chuck Schumer.

We're pariahs to social justice health care activists and Democrats who want us to just shut up and subsidize everyone else's insurance.

And we're expendables to establishment Republicans who hoovered up campaign donations on the empty promise to repeal Obamacare — and now consider amnesty for immigrants here illegally and gun control higher legislative priorities than keeping their damned word.

We're the canaries in the Obamacare coal mine. Ignore us at your peril, America. You're next.

Trump has kicked some ass !

This is the story of the suicide of the NFL.
Every liberal CEO in America should be watching and listening. This is a case study for how to destroy a billion-dollar business by injecting your offensive leftist politics and alienating your own customer base. And...you dont have to have graduated from the Wharton School f Business to understand this.

President Trump has done it again. No, I don’t mean he’s offended millions of Americans. I mean he said exactly what was on the mind of tens of millions of middle class Americans. ass.
NFL   . Call us the Silent Majority. Because of Trump, our views now count.

Don’t look now but Trump just kicked the NFL’s rear end. Ratings are plummeting. kicked

ass !!  Revenues are plunging. The player’s spokesman deals are being cancelled. Fans are booing. Fans are burning tickets and uniforms. Lifelong NFL zealots are vowing to never watch another game. And the #1 selling jersey in the USA is a Pittsburg Steeler lineman- a former Army Ranger with the courage to stand for the national anthem.

The Silent Majority is speaking loudly and clearly.
When you offend 63 million Trump voters, your business suffers, your bottom line plunges...

The NFL is going the way of dying dinosaur ESPN- they lost 3 million subscribers just last year alone. And the Emmys- with the lowest ratings EVER.And Hollywood box office revenues- the worst in 25 years.
And NBC’s Megyn Kelly- whose career is on life support. She's so scared of Trump's voters she just announced her new NBC morning show will be a "politics free zone." nd Arnold Schwarzenegger- who flopped as host of “Celebrity Apprentice.”And Actress Jennifer Lawrence- who latest movie bombed after disrespecting Trump.
And Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who recently suffered his first-ever action movie flop, after disrespecting Trump. Don’t forget Madonna, who threatened to bomb the White House. Her latest album sold 3,000 copies last week. Guess who got bombed?

My grandfather put it best. He taught me there are only two rules to business:

#1) The customer is always right.
#2) If the customer is wrong, refer back to Rule #1.

All of these athletes, entertainers, CEOs, businesses and leagues like the NFL have free speech. They can say whatever they want. But so can we- the customers. But we always get the last laugh.

Always assume your customers are 50/50 liberal vs conservative. Therefore, any political statement you make risks offending and alienating half your customers. So, shut up. Don't do it. Keep your views to yourself. Unless you want to lose 50 percent of your customers.

But what if your specific customer base is 70 percent conservative or center-right? Well then you could ruin your entire brand forever. Enter the NFL.

Of course, the NFL’s audience includes lots of diverse groups. But let’s be honest. The typical NFL fan is a white, middle class, middle aged, meat-eating, testosterone-driven Republican (or certainly center-right).

The typical NFL fan is a flag waver. They always stand for the national anthem. They wear flag pins and chant “USA, USA, USA!” They love cops and military. They're far more likely to eat hot dogs and drive a SUV, than eat tofu and drive a Prius. In short, they are middle class Trump voters. Not all of them. But a significant majority.

Doesn’t the NFL Commissioner know this? Don’t the executives at the NFL’s Park Ave. offices know this? What world do they live in? The NFL doesn't understand, or give a damn about their own customers? The NFL wants to go to war with their own best customers? Really? Wow.

It’s time for a nationwide boycott. It’s time for 63 million Trump fans to stop watching. Turn off NFL games on your TV for the next month. Watch the owners cry. Watch them panic. Watch them beg. Watch them order an end to all kneeling or disrespect for the national anthem. Watch them sing a whole new tune.

If you’re betting on the games here in Vegas, or you're just a super fan going into withdrawal, just watch them online, or on your iPhones. But make TV ratings collapse. That's what matters to NFL owners. Hit them in the pocketbook. They make no money when you watch online.

It’s also time for 63 million Trump voters to stop buying NFL merchandise. Go cold turkey. Buy something different for your kids or dad for Christmas. Try a book.
Write every NFL sponsor and demand they cancel their NFL advertising campaigns, or we’ll stop buying from them.

Call your Governor and demand your state immediately withdraw all state subsidies from your local team.

Call your Congressmen and demand the NFL’s anti-trust and tax exempt status be withdrawn immediately. Ouch. This one’s gonna hurt!

It’s time to teach the NFL a lesson. The Silent Majority counts. What we believe in- God, country, Constitution, flag, national anthem, American exceptionalism- matters. Start worrying about offending us.

The NFL is about to learn a bitter lesson. Trump 35-NFL 0.

An open letter to NFL players (and other equally stupid pro athletes):

You graduated high school in 2011. Your teenage years were a struggle. You grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Your mother was the leader of the family and worked tirelessly to keep a roof over your head and food on your plate. Academics were a struggle for you and your grades were mediocre at best. The only thing that made you stand out is you weighed 225 lbs and could run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds while carrying a football. Your best friend was just like you, except he didn’t play football. Instead of going to football practice after school, he went to work at McDonald's for minimum wage. You were recruited by all the big colleges and spent every weekend of your senior year making visits to universities where coaches and boosters tried to convince you their school was best. They laid out the red carpet for you. Your best friend worked double shifts at Mickey D’s. College was not an option for him. On the day you signed with Big State University, your best friend signed paperwork with his Army recruiter. You went to summer workouts. He went to basic training.

You spent the next four years living in the athletic dorm, eating at the training table. You spent your Saturdays on the football field, cheered on by adoring fans. Tutors attended to your every academic need. You attended class when you felt like it. Sure, you worked hard. You lifted weights, ran sprints, studied plays, and soon became one of the top

football players in the country. Your best friend was assigned to the 101stAirborne Division. While you were in college, he deployed to Iraq once and Afghanistan twice. He became a Sergeant and led a squad of 19 year old soldiers who grew up just like he did. He shed his blood in Afghanistan and watched young Americans give their lives, limbs, and innocence for the USA.

You went to the NFL combine and scored off the charts. You hired an agent and waited for draft day. You were drafted in the first round and your agent immediately went to work, ensuring that you received the most money possible. You signed for $16 million although you had never played a single down of professional football. Your best friend re-enlisted in the Army for four more years. As a combat-tested sergeant, he will be paid $32,000 per year.

You will drive a Ferrari on the streets of South Beach. He will ride in the back of a Blackhawk helicopter with 10 other combat loaded soldiers. You will sleep at the Ritz. He will dig a hole in the ground and try to sleep. You will “make it rain” in the club. He will pray for rain as the temperature reaches 120 degrees.

On Sunday, you will run into a stadium as tens of thousands of fans cheer and yell your name. For your best friend, there is little difference between Sunday and any other day of the week. There are no adoring fans. There
are only people trying to kill him and his soldiers. Every now and then, he and his soldiers leave the front lines and “go to the rear” to rest. He might be lucky enough to catch an NFL game on TV. When the National Anthem plays and you take a knee, he will jump to his feet and salute the television. While you protest the unfairness of life in the United States, he will give thanks to God that he has the honor of defending his great country.

To the players of the NFL: We are the people who buy your tickets, watch you on TV, and wear your jerseys. We anxiously wait for Sundays so we can cheer for you and marvel at your athleticism. Although we love to watch you play, we care little about your opinions until you offend us. You have the absolute right to express yourselves, but we have the absolute right to boycott you. We have tolerated your drug use and DUIs, your domestic violence, and your vulgar displays of wealth. We should be ashamed for putting our admiration of your physical skills before what is morally right. But now you have gone too far. You have insulted our flag, our country, our soldiers, our police officers, and our veterans. You are living the American dream, yet you disparage our great country. I am done with NFL football and the NBA and encourage all like minded Americans to boycott these pro sports until the light goes on for these crybabies and their rich owners who are afraid to speak up lest their spoiled brats (felons, wife-beaters) who are, in most cases, unable to even speak English in any understandable manner.

Anyone who confuses respect for our Anthem and our flag with the right to support BLM and ANTIFA is just plain ignorant. Use your freedom of speech in the proper forum and stop trying to hide behind your freedoms to relieve your ignorance. BLM and ANTIFA are issues totally unrelated to respect for our flag and our anthem. Your claim to freedoms are bogus and you should ask yourselves what is it you have ever done to earn them.

PS.
Trying to excuse your actions by highlighting the actions of our President on matters such as this is pure unadulterated BS. Whether he is right or wrong in his criticisms does not relieve you of your stupidity.

A Miscarriage of Justice......plain and simple.

YES MY KIND OF AN AMERICAN (Owner of the Kansas City Chiefs)

I may have a new favorite NFL team!

Clark Hunt, CEO and Owner of the Kansas City Chiefs

Mr. Hunt called a meeting with all of his Coaches, Players and   field staff and
firmly told them, "You are all simply paid performers on a stage and that field is my stage! You will stand, with your hand over your heart and with respect, when our Country's National  Anthem is being played or you will no longer be a Kansas City Chief, a Coach for the Kansas City Chiefs or have any
association with the Chiefs Organization!  I will immediately fire you, no  matter who you are!" You can make your political statements off the field, but when you're employed by me and I'm signing your check, I demand that you make our fans proud and not embarrass them."

Amazing the stuff you find when you got a bunch of lying dumb bastards....lying!

Maxine has ALWAYS been my perfect example of Liberal brainpower !!! Perfect !!!

AND....MORE MAXINE....
.....And--- they just keep electing, and electing ....and sending her back to DC.

Connect the dots.......

I found this article by Mauldin a scary treatise on a subject that I  have been watching and reading about for several years.  My interest was sharpened because I spent a couple decades marketing various forms of pensions, profit-sharing plans, employee deferred compensation programs and tax sheltered annuities.  Such private plans have worked positive wonders for businesses and employees.

I am suggesting this offering because it vividly displays what happens when governments try to do something similar to what I was doing.  The article puts a spotlight on the incompetency of political hacks...and especially those leaning to the left side of politics.  The major portion of states, counties and cities that are in bankrupt status have been controlled by the Democrats for decades.

This article is long....but on point.  Just because you may not be an endangered public employee, you are still in the cross-hairs because all of those bankrupt, under funded plans depend upon YOUR taxes to rescue them.!!!  Where else do you think the money could come from? .

EXCERPT:
"Say a corporation goes bankrupt. A court will take all its assets and decide how to divvy them up. The assets are easy to identify: buildings, land, intellectual property, cash, etc. The parties may argue over their value, but everyone knows what the assets are. They won’t walk away.
Not so in a public bankruptcy. The primary asset of a city, county, or state is future tax revenue from households and businesses within its boundaries. The taxpayers can walk away. Even without moving, they can bypass sales taxes by shopping elsewhere. If property taxes are too high, they can sell and move. When they take a loss on the sale, the new owner will have established a property value that yields the city far less revenue than it used to receive.
Cities and states don’t have the ability to shed their pension liabilities. They are stuck with them, even as population and property values change."

Long but enlightening !.....Stay with it....

Thanks to John D. for getting this piece to us. When you read it all you will walk away with a much needed understanding of the Who, What, When, Where & Why of how things really work.

                          Explanation for White House Events

Here is a scenario of how things work in the “real” world. You will find this to be a very interesting article. It provides a whole new perspective on what has transpired in the oval office.
John.

"Apparently, liberals and never-Trumpers are so isolated in their political circles that they have no concept how things work in the real world of business and corporate America. For example, they completely fail to grasp the concept of the "hatchet man."

Allow me to explain:

Say you are a business tycoon. You just successfully completed a large-scale acquisition and merger, bringing together multiple smaller companies into one conglomerate. After the merger, you want to put your own people in charge of everything. However, all those smaller companies had their own executives - and, at least for the short term - you need to keep many of them around the keep things running. So, you keep many of those executives around, and let them retain their own senior staff. You even appoint one of them - the head of the largest of the companies you acquired - to be the CEO of the conglomerate, and he pledges to get all the departments working together harmoniously.

After a transition period, some of them are doing fine in the new conglomerate - but others are clearly causing trouble. In fact, the one you appointed CEO is clearly a disaster. The newly merged departments are working against each other.

Furthermore, you have good suspicion he is dealing in insider trading - nothing you can take to a prosecutor, but there is a lot of circumstantial evidence building up. Worse, he is not only doing his own dirty dealing, but it appears he may even be leaking intellectual property to your competitors, helping them take market share from you.

Clearly, he has to go - and go now.

Problem is, many of the senior employees in your conglomerate are loyal to him. If you just fire him and put in your own chosen CEO, you know you could get a lot of backlash from disgruntled employees. And in your business, there is such a small profit-margin that you really can't afford anything at all that threatens performance. So what do you do?

In comes the hatchet man.

The hatchet man is someone you bring in for sole purpose of slashing the problems and shaking things up over a very short period of time - but doing it in a way that deflects any blame or blowback away from you. As soon as the problems are hacked away, the hatchet man leaves - taking the ire and resentment with him, and leaving you free to bring in your new team for a fresh start.

This happens in the business world all the time. And Donald Trump is a businessman. He knows this. He has lived this. We've seen him do it on "The Apprentice." We've read about it in his books. This is not a surprise to anyone. Except for liberals and never-Trumpers.

Enter Scaramucci.

Liberals and never-Trumpers see the past two weeks as proof of a Hitler-clown-circus spectacle, as evidence that Trump is unhinged and our government is in the hands of madmen. Anyone who understands the business world and Donald Trump fully understands that what we just witnessed was a perfectly executed hatchet man maneuver.

When Trump won the election, he essentially performed the political equivalent of an acquisition and merger. He brought together different political factions - establishment Republicans, conservatives, tea party, religious right, moderates, independents, cross-overs - into one winning political coup. For some, it was a hostile takeover - and if they were going to be dragged in against their will, they would sure as hell resist.

This is where Reince Priebus came in.

Priebus, as the then-chairman of the Republican National Committee, was hired as White House Chief of Staff to be a sort of post-merger CEO. It was his job to bring all these political factions together and get them to work harmoniously. But he failed. Worse, there is ample evidence to suggest he not only failed, but worked against Trump and the Trump agenda. Look at the leaks. Look at all the chaos. Look at all the bureaucracy continuing to work at odds with the president. Priebus - and a number of other people around him - had to go.

Back to Scaramucci.
Donald Trump has known for some time that Priebus was a disaster. He was going to give him his six-month trial period - that's a fairly common thing in the private sector. After that, heads were going to roll. But Trump himself doesn't want to be the hatchet man. He needs to be able to lead after the bloodbath. So what does he do? He turns to an old friend he has known for many years - someone with nothing to lose, someone who can step in with a hatchet and hack away, someone who can then just walk away from it all and leave the slate clean. He turned to Scaramucci.

So what does Scaramucci do? He comes in swinging. He fires a few people to make a quick example. He tells others they can "resign" right now if they want to - but if not, they will be fired. Others see what is going on and just up and quit of their own accord.

That problem CEO, Priebus? Oh, the new "structure" of the organization puts Scaramucci in direct competition with Priebus - and Priebus throws up his hands and says "fine, I'm out of here." And Scaramucci does it all in a way that is spectacularly visible to draw all the fire from Trump critics.

So how does it all end? It ends with Trump putting in his new CEO - the one he probably wanted from day one, but held back - and the new CEO says "OK, Scaramucci - you are no longer needed here."

Gen. Kelly now has a clean slate to start fresh - and Scaramucci takes all the heat. Where the left and never-Trumpers see a circus freak-show, realists from the business world see a perfectly executed post-merger hatchet-man job.

The political wonks see Kelly taking command as the first sane thing to happen in this administration. They don't realize they've been played, and played perfectly. And soon we will likely see some other changes that move the Executive Branch further towards what Trump has wanted from day one. And then watch the real swamp-drainer get to work. It sucks to be Hillary Clinton right now...

Oh, and Scaramucci? He gets a sweet deal out of all this - no doubt, he and his friend Donald Trump talked it all out first.

Scaramucci was already facing a nasty divorce that would result in the liquidation of his business to divide assets. A little-known law allows people who are legally required to sell a business as a condition of employment in the Executive Branch (to prevent conflicts of interest) to defer the taxes on their profits from the sale.

Scaramucci was going to have to sell his company anyway due to his pending divorce. Now he and his soon-to-be ex-wife just saved $80 million in taxes. So don't think for a moment all this was an unplanned mess that went awry. Scaramucci and Trump knew exactly what they were doing.

All of this was planned - and foreseen. Not just by me, but by others as well.

Scott Adams wrote before Trump was inaugurated that, to his critics, the first year of Trump would be a play in three acts:

Act One - Trump is literally Hitler.
Act Two - Trump is not literally Hitler, but Trump is incompetent.
Act Three - Trump is not incompetent, but we don't like his policies.

We've seen this play out. From election night up through the first 100 days, the left was out rioting and acting as though Trump taking office was literally the end of Western Civilization.

But after 100 days, when Trump had failed to do evil-dictator things like round up all the brown people and put the gays into camps and force women to stay home and have babies, it became farcical to continue the "Trump is Hitler" narrative.

And so from that 100 day point up until now, it has been the "Trump is incompetent" game. Look at all the chaos. Look at all the leaking. Look at all the tweets. Now, we begin Act Three. With Priebus out and Kelly in, things will settle down. Pretty soon, all the left will have to say is "we just don't like Trump's policies."...Act Three.

And once that happens, the left is dead. Because, Trump's policies are policies that most Americans actually agree with. We should put America first. Build back our economy. Create jobs. Strengthen the military. Protect the border. Outside a few densely-populated liberal strongholds like New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and - of course - Washington, D.C., Americans in general agree with all of this. So when all the left has to say is "Trump's policies are wrong," the left will literally be telling most of America, "you people are stupid."

Trump will win 47 states in 2020. California, Illinois and New York will remain Liberal for eternity. The left will be scratching their heads and wondering what the hell happened. And you'll be able to look back and say, "hey, some of us told you all this back in 2017.

"Kick me in the ass."

Katue Couric, Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams and a tough old U.S. Marine Sergeant were captured by terrorists in Iraq. The leader of the terrorists told them he'd grant each of them one last request before they were beheaded and dragged naked through the streets.

Katie Couric said, 'Well, I'm a Southerner, so I'd like one last plate of fried chicken.'

The leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chicken. Couric ate it all and said, 'Now I can die content.'

Charlie Gibson said, 'I'm living in ' New York, so I'd like to hear the song, The Moon and Me, one last time.'

The terrorist leader nodded to another terrorist who had studied the Western world and knew the music. He returned with some rag-tag musicians and played the song. Gibson was satisfied.

Brian Williams said, 'I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen. Maybe, someday, someone will hear it and know that I was on the job till the end.'

The leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Williams dictated his comments. He then said, 'Now I can die happy.'

The leader turned and asked, 'And now, Mr. U.S. Marine, what is your final wish? 'Kick me in the ass,' said the Marine.

'What?' asked the leader, 'Will you mock us in your last hour?' 'No, I'm NOT kidding. I want you to kick me in the ass,' insisted the Marine. So, the leader shoved him into the yard and kicked him in the ass. The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled a 9-mm pistol from inside his cammies and shot the leader dead. In the resulting confusion, he emptied his sidearm on six terrorists, then with his knife he slashed the throat of one, and with an AK-47, which he took, sprayed the rest of the terrorists killing another 11. In a flash, all of them were either dead or fleeing for their lives.

As the Marine was untying Couric, Gibson, and Williams, they asked him, 'Why didn't you just shoot them all in the first place? Why did you ask him to kick you in the ass?' 'What?' replied the Marine 'and have you three assholes report that I was the aggressor.....?’Semper Fi!

These people are allowed to vote, really!!!

"Where do these idiots get their value system (???)?  Did they even have parents???  Holy Moly. They think they are so smart and worldly when in reality they haven't a clue.  They are intolerant, violent and dishonest, but, oh, so quick to assert they've a constitutional right to protest (without any responsibility for any property damage they do, any bodily harm they cause or any violation of others civil/constitutional rights.  A bunch of mollycoddled irresponsible brats! This video is a very disturbing. May we baby boomers continue to fight the good fight for many years to come. Teach your grandchildren well.  Not only do they vote, they will soon be running for office, and there will be a huge influx to replace the no-goods who are aging out. And they vote. Legal or otherwise."
Joe.

Thoughts, Facts , and Philosophy

POINTS TO PONDER....

Part I:

A. Back off and let those men who want to marry men, marry men.
B. Allow those women who want to marry women, marry women.
C. Allow those folks who want to abort their babies, abort their babies.
In three generations, there will be no more Democrats!!.
!
Part II:

10 ‘Poorest’ Cities in America (How did it happen?)
City, State, % of People Below the Poverty Level

1. Detroit, MI ………. 32.5%
2. Buffalo, NY ……… 29.9%
 3, Cinncinati OH….. 27.8%
4. Cleveland, OH ….. 27.0%
5. Miami, FL ……….. 26.9%
6. St. Louis, MO ……. 26.8%
7. El Paso, TX ………. 26.4%
8. Milwaukee, WI …… 26.2%
9. Philadelphia, PA …. 25.1%
10. Newark, NJ ……… 24.2%

What do these top ten cities (over 250,000 population) With the highest poverty rate have in common?

Detroit, Mi ……1ST on the poverty rated list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961.
Buffalo, NY …..... (2nd) hasn't elected one since 1954
Cincinnati, OH … (3rd) not since 1984
Cleveland, OH … (4th) not since 1989
Miami, FL ……… (5th) has never had a Republican mayor
St. Louis, MO .... (6th) not since 1949

Milwaukee, WI … (8th) not since 1908
Philadelphia, PA . (9th) not since 1952
Newark, NJ …….. (10th) not since 1907

Einstein once said, “The definition of insanity is doing the Same thing over and over again and expecting different Results.” Unfortunately, it is the poor who habitually elect Democrats
… yet they are still POOR.

Part III:
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him had better  take a much closer look at the American Indian."

Hey Fred,
Honored to be on “Fred’s Corner”. I have seen some in the past, right on target, and I do recognize many good friends on your distribution. Goldwater was a bit too liberal for me, so nothing “too conservative”. I’m celebrating Labor Day, by rejoicing the demise of the labor unions.
If we could just destroy the death grip that the teacher’s unions have on our pubic school system, it might be possible for poor inner city children to get an education and climb out of the welfare state poverty that the “Great Society” imposed on them.
Cheers,
 Bill S.

Excellent treatis magnifying the stupidy of our Political Correctness binge !

I think all sports fans will get a kick out of this letter written to the Chicago Tribune.... Enjoy ! No matter which side you are on in the matter of renaming the Washington Redskins. This guy is hilarious... Here is an e-mail sent to Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune after an article he published concerning a name change for the Washington Redskins.

"Dear Mr. Page:

I agree with our Native American population. I am highly insulted by the racially charged name of the Washington Redskins.

One might argue that to name a professional football team after Native Americans would exalt them as fine warriors, but nay, nay. We must be careful not to offend, and in the spirit of political correctness and courtesy, we must move forward.

Let's ditch the Kansas City Chiefs, the Atlanta Braves and the Cleveland Indians. If your shorts are in a wad because of the reference the name "Redskins" makes to skin color, then we need to get rid of the Cleveland Browns.

The Carolina Panthers obviously were named to keep the memory of militant Blacks from the 60's alive. Gone. It's offensive to us white folk.

The New York Yankees offend the Southern population. Do you see a team named for the Confederacy? No! There is no room for any reference to that tragic war that cost this country so many young men's lives.

I am also offended by the blatant references to the Catholic religion among our sports team names. Totally inappropriate to have the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Angels or the San Diego Padres.

Then there are the team names that glorify criminals who raped and pillaged. We are talking about the horrible Oakland Raiders, the Minnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Pirates!

Now, let us address those teams that clearly send the wrong message to our children. The San Diego Chargers promote irresponsible fighting or even spending habits. Wrong message to our children.

The New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants promote obesity, a growing childhood epidemic. Wrong message to our children.

The Cincinnati Reds promote downers/barbiturates. Wrong message to our children.

The Milwaukee Brewers. Well that goes without saying. Wrong message to our children.

So, there you go. We need to support any legislation that comes out to rectify this travesty, because the government will likely become involved with this issue, as they should. Just the kind of thing the do-nothing Congress loves.

As a diehard Oregon State fan, my wife and I, with all of this in mind, suggest it might also make some sense to change the name of the Oregon State women's athletic teams to something other than "the Beavers (especially when they play Southern California. Do we really want the Trojans sticking it to the Beavers???
I always love your articles and I generally agree with them. As for the Redskins name I would suggest they change the name to the "Foreskins" to better represent their community.?

From the Mail Box......

A big thanks to an old early 50's frat. brother, and my pledge son,, George G. for passing on  this thought provoking piece.
f.

                            I used to think I was just a regular guy, but . . .

I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist.
I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist.
I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobic.
I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business.
I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.
I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun lobby.
I am older than 60, which makes me a bit less than I used to be.
I think and I reason,  Therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.
I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.
I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.
Recently, a sick old woman called me and my friends "a basket of deplorables”.

I need to thank all my friends for sticking with me through these abrupt, new found challenges in my life and my thinking! I just can't imagine or understand what's happened to me so quickly! Funny . . . it's all just taken place over the last 7 or 8 years!

And if all this crap wasn't enough to deal with, now I'm anxious about who I will find in a public restroom!!!

George Will presents great dissertation on Political Correctness...

....and if you enjoy this George....then also watch the following piece from George Carlin, delivered many years ago before he died.

Spend 8 minutes with George Carlin....

.....and, relate it to the last few years of the liberal swamp's attack on our history....and its attempt to erase what really existed from the pages.
